Description
The Unity Tactical ModButton Lite is a remote pressure switch built for shooters who run SureFire Scout-style weapon lights and need dependable momentary activation without the compromises of older switch designs. The core problem it addresses is straightforward: legacy pressure switches throttle current delivery, which means high-output modern light heads never reach their rated output. Unity’s patented design passes the full current load, so the light runs at its actual rated lumens and candela rather than the 15–20% reduced output common with older switches.
The body is injection-molded polymer and fully potted, meaning the electronics are sealed inside a solid mass rather than left in an air cavity — this is what achieves the 1-meter, 30-minute waterproofing and also protects internal components from the shock and vibration a weapon generates under fire. The SureFire-compatible cable lead makes the switch backward compatible with SureFire Arisaka and Modlite Scout bodies, as well as SureFire UE and DS00 tail caps. The switch is momentary-only by design; if constant-on is a requirement for your application, that function is handled at the tail cap level with a SureFire DS00.
The 4.5-inch cable length suits most standard handguard configurations without excess slack. The included Picatinny rail grabber mounts left or right depending on your support-hand preference, and no tools are required for installation. An M-LOK adapter kit is available separately if your handguard does not have a continuous rail section. At 1.8 ounces, it adds minimal weight to the forend. Finished in Flat Dark Earth. Made in the USA.
