UNITY REKE SCOPE MOUNT 35MM FDE

Description

The FAST™ REKE™ was developed in response to a Special Operations Forces requirement for a precision optic mount that works alongside in-line night vision devices without forcing a cheek-weld compromise. The 1.54-inch optical centerline height is not arbitrary: it positions the scope bore high enough to clear common clip-on NVDs mounted forward of the optic, so the shooter does not have to choose between a day optic setup and a night capability—both can coexist on the same rifle without removing or repositioning the scope.

The three-bolt rail clamp distributes clamping force across a wider footprint than a single-bolt design, which resists rotation and fore-aft shift under the sustained impulse of precision rifle fire. The mount is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a Type III hardcoat anodize, a process that produces a wear surface harder than the base alloy. Unity notes that the chemistry of Type III hardcoat causes natural variation in the final hue on FDE parts, so the color is not perfectly uniform from unit to unit—something to expect rather than treat as a defect.

The REKE’s modular architecture is a deliberate capability platform rather than a fixed-geometry mount. The top ring accepts a dedicated MRDS top ring accessory for a miniature red dot at twelve o’clock, and diving board accessories mount laser rangefinders or other devices ahead of the optic without adding a separate rail segment to the rifle. This variant is sized for 35mm tube optics, consistent with the 35mm ring offering in the REKE line alongside 30mm and 34mm options. The FDE finish uses Unity’s own color designation and is part of the same FAST™ ecosystem as Unity’s other mount and accessory products.
