Two omni-directional microphones provide 9x hearing enhancement, meaning low-level sounds like range commands or game movement are brought up clearly rather than left at natural volume. The Adjustable Frequency Tuning lets the user dial the amplification toward the frequencies that matter most in a given environment, which is more useful in field conditions than a fixed amplification curve.
