Description

The Wilson Combat TTU H2 is a drop-in two-stage trigger designed for shooters who want a predictable, consistent pull in a platform that installs without fussing over adjustment screws or hand-fitting. Two-stage designs split the pull into a distinct takeup phase followed by a defined break, which makes it easier to hold a precise sight picture through the shot — particularly useful in deliberate or precision-oriented shooting where a single-stage trigger’s immediate resistance can feel abrupt under pressure.

The trigger pull runs between 4.5 and 5 pounds, and Wilson Combat sets it there at the factory — no tuning required on the shooter’s end. The H13 steel used for the trigger, hammer, and sear is a tool steel chosen for its resistance to heat and wear, and the components are CNC machined and finished with a dry film lubricant. The entire assembly arrives pre-built in a CNC machined housing, so installation is straightforward rather than a gunsmithing project.

The hammer geometry is specifically shaped to ensure reliable ignition with military-specification and surplus ammunition, which can have harder primers than commercial rounds. A 1911-style half-cock notch is built in to meet drop safety standards. The reset is intentionally short to allow faster follow-up shots, though that characteristic means a firm grip matters — a relaxed hold can allow the trigger to follow the bolt carrier, which is worth keeping in mind during bench or prone shooting sessions. Compatible with both AR-15 and AR-10 pattern rifles across a wide range of calibers.
