Description

The YHM sRx Blast Deflector solves a specific problem: you want to run your sRx muzzle device without a suppressor attached, but muzzle blast directed back toward your support hand or a recessed handguard setup is genuinely uncomfortable and potentially harmful over a course of fire. This deflector mounts to any sRx muzzle device using the same attachment interface as a YHM suppressor, so there is no learning curve and no additional tooling required — if you can mount an sRx can, you can mount this.

The body is machined from 4140 steel and finished in Black Oxide, which keeps weight modest while holding up to sustained heat and handling. At 2.2 inches long and just over an inch in diameter, it adds minimal profile to the muzzle end without obstructing sightlines or interfering with most handguard configurations. The 4.7-ounce mass is light enough that it does not meaningfully shift the balance of the host rifle.

The practical case for keeping one of these in the bag is straightforward: if your suppressor is on a different host that day, you are not left with an exposed, unshrouded muzzle device that vents blast laterally. The deflector redirects that energy forward, which matters most on shorter barrels where muzzle devices sit closer to the shooter’s hand.
