Description
Suppressors run hot, and a bare can during an extended range session or a hunting trip will limit your handling options in ways that matter. Yankee Hill Machine’s suppressor cover exists to close that gap — wrapping the tube in a layered shield so you can move, sling, and handle the host weapon without waiting for things to cool down.
The construction is built around heat management from the inside out. The innermost sleeve is rated to 3,000°F, meaning it handles the direct thermal load off the suppressor body without degrading. A middle layer rated to 1,800°F adds a secondary thermal break before heat can travel outward. The outer shell is 1,000 Denier Cordura Nylon — a weight chosen for durability rather than lightness, holding up against abrasion, moisture, and UV exposure over time. Even the thread used in construction is fire-resistant, so the stitching doesn’t become a failure point under heat.
What sets this cover apart from simpler slip-on designs is the retention system. YHM’s locking straps positively secure the cover to the suppressor body rather than relying on friction alone. A cover that migrates forward under repeated firing becomes a visual distraction and an annoyance; one that stays indexed to the can stays out of your way. The 4.5-inch length fits the Turbo K, Resonator K, and R9 suppressors from Yankee Hill Machine’s own lineup, making it a natural pairing if you’re running any of those cans. Finish is Black.
