Description
Every VICTRA Modular Shotgun Sound Suppressor ships with one of these spanner wrenches, but tools have a way of going missing. This is the factory replacement — the same wrench YHM builds into the kit, available separately so a lost or damaged tool does not sideline your suppressor.
The wrench is purpose-built for three distinct tasks within the VICTRA system. It drives mount assemblies in and out of the host shotgun, seats or removes chokes inside the suppressor body, and engages the jam nut that locks the mount in place. Handling all three jobs with a single dedicated tool keeps the interface consistent and avoids the improvised solutions that scratch finished surfaces or round off soft features.
Construction is steel with a Melonite finish — the same surface treatment YHM applies to a range of their components. Melonite is a ferritic nitrocarburizing process that works into the metal rather than sitting on top of it, so it resists corrosion and wear without adding meaningful thickness to close-tolerance contact surfaces. At two ounces and just over six inches long, it stores flat in a range bag or suppressor case without taking up space. Made in the USA.
If you run both the VICTRA-12 and VICTRA-20, note that YHM also offers the YHM-1251, a separate spanner designed specifically for the VICTRA-20 series and priced lower. The YHM-1248 covered here is the larger wrench intended for VICTRA-12 and VICTRA-20 mount work — check which configuration your setup calls for before ordering.
