Description

When you run a VICTRA-12 modular shotgun suppressor, the mount and host need to stay locked together under repeated recoil — that is exactly what this jam nut is designed to handle. It threads up against the suppressor mount to prevent the assembly from walking loose during use, a common failure point on any muzzle device that sees regular cycling on a shotgun platform.

YHM machines the nut from 17-4 stainless steel, a precipitation-hardened alloy that holds up to sustained mechanical stress and resists corrosion better than standard 300-series stainless. The Melonite finish adds a hard, low-friction surface treatment that further protects against wear at the interface between the nut and mount — exactly where you want it, since that contact point takes the brunt of every recoil impulse. At 1.1875 inches in diameter and a quarter inch of depth, it sits compact against the mount without adding meaningful length to the overall assembly.

This part is included with a new VICTRA-12 mount purchase, so its primary audience is anyone replacing a lost or damaged original, or a shooter building out a second host setup for an existing VICTRA-12 can. Because the suppressor’s modular design allows it to move between different mounts and hosts, having a spare jam nut on hand is practical insurance. It is made in the USA at YHM’s Easthampton, Massachusetts facility.
