The design is intentionally compact — short enough that it clears extended magazines on reload and narrow enough at the mounting collar that it doesn’t crowd accessories mounted in adjacent M-LOK slots. That’s a real-world trade-off worth understanding: a longer vertical grip gives more hand coverage, but it can foul lights, pressure switches, and bipod feet if the rail is already busy. This one stays out of the way.

The body is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, which keeps weight honest at 2.24 oz while holding up to the contact stresses that a gripped forend generates over time. The exterior receives a hard coat anodized matte black finish to military specification, meaning the surface hardness and corrosion resistance meet a defined standard rather than a manufacturer’s discretion. The knurling provides grip purchase even with gloves or wet hands without the aggressive texture that wears on bare skin during longer range sessions.

Installation requires a 1/8-inch hex Allen wrench and the standard M-LOK hardware interface — no proprietary tools, no adapter plates. The ambidextrous profile means neither a left- nor right-handed shooter has to compromise their grip angle.
