Description

The Resonator R2 is built for shooters who want a single suppressor that moves freely between rifles rather than one dedicated to a single host. Its caliber range spans from .17 HMR up through .300 RUM, which means the same unit covers a varmint rifle, a hunting bolt gun, and a 300 Blackout carbine without any internal modifications. That flexibility is worth considering before buying a purpose-built, caliber-specific can.

The tubeless construction uses 17-4 stainless steel throughout, with a Cobalt 6 blast baffle positioned at the chamber where heat and pressure are most punishing. Eliminating the outer tube removes a potential weak point and reduces overall weight — the suppressor body comes in at 13 ounces before adding the included Phantom Q.D. adapter. The blast chamber is machined to the 1-3/8″x24 HUB thread standard, which opens compatibility to the broader ecosystem of HUB-pattern mounts beyond the included hardware.

This variant ships with a Phantom Q.D. muzzle brake on a 5/8″-24 thread, the mount standard for most .30-caliber hosts. The Q.D. system lets you attach and detach the suppressor body without tools, and the muzzle brake remains on the rifle when the suppressor is off, so you are not running bare threads in the field. Full-auto rating indicates the baffle stack and materials are sized for sustained heat, not just moderate semi-automatic use. Two suppressor wrenches are included, which matters when you are torquing the HUB connection and need proper leverage without risking finish damage.
