The tradeoff is straightforward — more reach, narrower field, and that suits hunters who are scanning a specific ridgeline or field edge rather than sweeping broad terrain.

Nocpix’s Reality+ processing runs continuously to sharpen edges and suppress noise, and it remains active through the 4x digital zoom range, so image quality degrades less as you push magnification. The AMOLED display at 1024×768 renders the processed output with good contrast. Thermal sensitivity is rated at 18 mK NETD or better, meaning the sensor distinguishes small temperature differences — useful when an animal’s body outline blends into warm ground. Power comes from a standard 18650 cell with a spare included, and the USB-C port handles both charging and data. Onboard storage handles photo, video, and audio capture directly on the device.
