Description

The GBRS Group 2.91 FTC Magnifier Mount is built for shooters who run a red dot as their primary optic and need magnification available on demand without removing their hands from the rifle. The FTC — Flip to Center — mechanism allows the magnifier to swing directly behind the red dot for a magnified sight picture, then flip out of the way when you need to return to full-field, unmagnified target acquisition. That pivot action is the core reason to choose a mount like this over a standard side-flip design: the magnifier stays on the optical axis rather than parking to the side, so your cheek weld and eye relief remain consistent whether the magnifier is engaged or not.

This variant uses a 30mm ring, sized to work with the most common magnifier tube diameter on the market. The mount holds the centerline of that tube at 2.91 inches above the bore axis — a height that indexes cleanly with the co-witness sight picture produced by most full-height red dot mounts, keeping your zero consistent between magnified and unmagnified positions. The finish is GBRS Group’s Flat Dark Earth, applied over a precision-machined aluminum construction with an anodized surface.
