Description

The GBRS Group Second Best Sling is built for shooters who want a two-point sling that does its job without adding bulk or catching on gear. Most conventional slings rely on large metal hardware to handle adjustments and attachment; the Second Best Sling replaces that hardware with a minimal, low-profile setup that brings the total weight down to 2.7 oz — roughly half what most padded or hardware-heavy two-point slings weigh. That difference is noticeable on long carries and during transitions, where extra weight at the muzzle or stock end disrupts balance.

The webbing uses a four-way stretch weave, which allows the sling to move with the shooter rather than pulling against body armor or a chest rig during a transition to a secondary. The comfort neck pad is cut with tapered ends, which removes the abrupt edges that snag on collar loops, plate carrier cummerbunds, and jacket openings. The four-inch pull tab can be converted to a thumb loop by removing the center bar tacks — a simple modification that changes how the shooter manages slack when going from a slung carry to a firing position.

This variant is finished in Desert Digi, a pixelated pattern suited to arid and high-desert environments. The sling ships ready to trim and fit to individual length, so shooters with shorter stocks or longer arms can dial the geometry without working around a fixed configuration. It attaches via standard sling mounts and is compatible with QD swivel hardware, though swivels are sold separately from the standalone sling.
