The Shield Arms S15 +5 Magazine Extension is built for shooters who run the S15 steel magazine in a Glock 43X or 48 and want more rounds available without switching to a different platform. The extension adds five rounds to the magazine’s existing capacity, giving you a meaningful increase in a package that remains manageable in the hand.

The extension is machined with an anodized finish in red, which serves a practical purpose beyond aesthetics — red extensions are easy to identify at a glance as your higher-capacity magazines in a multi-magazine setup, and the anodized surface holds up under the friction of repeated insertions and removals. The kit includes a Power Spring, which is there by design: adding length to a magazine body increases the distance the spring must travel, and an upgraded spring ensures reliable feeding across the full extended round count rather than relying on the factory spring to manage a load it wasn’t sized for.

Because the S15 is itself a steel magazine — a departure from the factory polymer Glock magazine — Shield Arms designed this extension to mate correctly with that specific construction. Fitment with factory Glock magazines is not what this product is made for.
