Description
The Rearden Atlas Alpha Low Profile adapter is built for shooters who want to run a suppressor on a short muzzle device without adding unnecessary length to the overall package. Where a standard-height mount holds the suppressor further forward and demands a longer muzzle device to engage it properly, the low-profile design sits closer to the bore axis and is specifically sized to work with compact muzzle devices — including Rearden’s own FHD, Mini, SPB, RPB, and R2S, as well as compatible designs from other manufacturers.
The inside diameter threading of 1.125×28 is the interface spec that determines which suppressors will mate with this adapter. Cans like the SilencerCo Omega 9K use this thread pattern on their mounting system, making this adapter a practical solution for pairing that style of suppressor with a wider range of host firearms and muzzle devices than the suppressor’s stock mount might allow. If your suppressor uses a different bore-side thread spec, this adapter won’t engage it — thread compatibility is the first thing to confirm before purchase.
The Heat Treat finish indicates the adapter has been heat-treated rather than coated with a deposited finish, which affects how the surface wears under the repeated torque and heat cycling that a suppressor mount sees in regular use. Rearden manufactures this as part of the Atlas mounting system, and the fit and machining are oriented toward secure, repeatable lockup each time the suppressor is attached and removed.
