The Walker’s Razor Digital X-TRM is a low-profile electronic ear muff built for shooters and hunters who need reliable hearing protection without the bulk that gets in the way of a consistent cheek weld. The slim ear cup design keeps the muff from catching on a rifle stock, which matters when you’re cycling between shots or tracking a moving target.

The digital circuitry does two things at once: it actively suppresses harmful impulse noise from gunfire while simultaneously amplifying ambient sound so you can hear range commands, conversation, or movement in the field. That distinction matters — passive muffs simply block everything, while the digital system here applies dynamic suppression selectively, letting safe-level sounds pass through with clarity. The omni-directional microphones are positioned to pick up sound from a wide angle rather than a single forward direction, which helps with situational awareness when threats or game could approach from any side.

The headband uses a moisture-wicking construction with cooling properties at the contact points, which reduces fatigue during extended sessions in warm weather. Gel-filled ear cushions add to that long-wear comfort by conforming to the head without building up heat the way standard foam pads tend to. A recessed volume control keeps adjustment accessible but protected against accidental changes. An auxiliary input jack lets you run audio from an external device while keeping the sound contained within the cups. The muffs run on two AAA batteries, which are included.

This version is finished in Gray and does not include Bluetooth — if wireless audio streaming is a priority, Walker’s offers a separate Bluetooth-equipped variant of the same platform.
