Description

The LWRC REPR MKII in 6.5 Creedmoor is built for precision rifle work at distance — hunting, long-range target shooting, or competition — where a semi-automatic action needs to keep pace with bolt-gun accuracy expectations. It is not a general-purpose carbine; the 20-inch spiral-fluted barrel is there because 6.5 Creedmoor extracts meaningful velocity gains from the longer tube, and the fluting reduces weight without compromising the rigidity that longer-range shooting demands.

The 1-in-8 twist rate is matched to the heavier, high-BC projectiles that make 6.5 Creedmoor worthwhile at extended ranges — think 130- to 147-grain bullets. Lighter loads in this caliber will still stabilize, but the barrel’s design priority is clearly the heavier end of the chambering’s practical envelope. The 5/8×24 muzzle threads accept the suppressors and muzzle devices common to this cartridge family without an adapter.

LWRC’s side charging handle is a deliberate departure from the standard AR charging arrangement — it keeps the shooter’s firing-hand grip undisturbed during administrative handling and allows a more natural bolt-check motion for prone shooting. The Geissele SSA-E two-stage trigger is a known quantity in precision circles: a short, light first stage followed by a clean second-stage break that supports consistent shot release without the creep of a standard mil-spec group. Fully ambidextrous lower controls and a Magpul PRS adjustable stock round out a package aimed at shooters who intend to use the rifle from a supported position in varied conditions. The Olive Drab Green Cerakote finish is durable and low-reflectance without being theatrical. LWRC Skirmish back-up sights are included and co-witness with standard optic mounting heights.
