Description

The SBT-G2™ is SB Tactical’s second-generation stabilizing brace built specifically for the B&T APC, HK UMP, and LWRCi SMG45 platform. If you run one of those pistols and want a more controlled shooting experience without adding bulk, this is a purpose-built solution rather than a universal adapter held together with compromises.

The central design feature is an integral right-side folding mechanism. Folding to the right keeps the firearm compact for transport and storage while still allowing a fast return to a usable configuration — and because the fold is built into the brace itself rather than added via a separate adapter, there are no stacking tolerances or additional interfaces to worry about. When deployed, the arm cuff — derived from SB Tactical’s SB-Mini™ design — wraps the forearm to provide a consistent, repeatable point of contact that helps manage muzzle rise and lateral movement during fire.

At eight ounces, the SBT-G2™ adds minimal weight to a platform that’s already compact by nature. The brace ships in black and includes an adjustable nylon strap and a QD sling socket, so you can integrate it into a sling setup without additional hardware. Installation follows the standard HK/B&T interface; SB Tactical provides dedicated installation instructions for this platform, which is worth reviewing before fitting if you haven’t worked with this receiver family before.
