Description

The American Defense Manufacturing AD-T1 low-profile quick-detach mount is built for shooters who run an Aimpoint Micro T1, T2, or CompM5 and need a secure, repeatable attachment that can be removed and reinstalled without tools and without losing zero. The low-profile height keeps the optic as close to the bore axis as practical on a flat-top receiver, which translates directly to a more natural cheek weld on standard carbine and rifle stocks rather than requiring a riser or an elevated cheek piece.

The quick-detach lever system is the central feature here. Rather than threading down a nut or torquing a screw, the lever clamps onto a Picatinny rail and releases with a single motion. ADM designs this interface to return to zero when remounted, which matters if the optic needs to come off for storage, transport, or a transition to backup sights and then go back on without a trip to the range to re-confirm point of impact. The standard lever on this variant operates like a conventional throw-lever — straightforward to actuate without requiring a coin or a wrench, as some competing retention systems do.

American Defense Manufacturing makes this mount in New Berlin, Wisconsin, and the machining is done to close tolerances so there is no lateral play between the mount body and the optic footprint.
