Description

The American Defense Manufacturing AD-AEMS is a quick-detach replacement mount built specifically for the Holosun AEMS red dot. It exists for shooters who want to move their optic between rifles without losing zero, or who simply prefer a more capable interface than the factory mounting solution Holosun ships with the AEMS.

The core of the design is ADM’s Patented QD Auto Lock lever system. The lever clamps against the Picatinny rail without requiring any tools — a finger or a flat-blade screwdriver handles all adjustments — and it can be configured to lock toward the front or the rear of the receiver depending on your preference or your rig’s clearances. The clamping geometry is designed to work with both in-spec and out-of-spec rail systems, which matters on the range of AR-pattern receivers and handguards actually in circulation.

The 1.93″ optical centerline height positions the AEMS for a heads-up, chin-off-stock sight picture. At that height, standard iron sights mounted at the same rail interface will co-witness through the AEMS window, which gives you a usable backup if the optic goes down. Shooters running night-vision equipment or additional hardware under the optic typically find this height range practical for maintaining a consistent cheekweld with a more upright head position.

Construction is CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum with a hard coat Type III Mil-Spec anodized finish. The mount weighs 2.7 ounces. ADM covers it with a lifetime warranty and manufactures it in the United States. Note that mounting screws are not included — the factory hardware from your AEMS optic is required for installation.
