Description

The American Defense Manufacturing Lightweight TR mount is built for shooters running compact red dots on AR pistols and short-barreled carbines where a standard mount’s bulk works against the platform. It fits the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, EOTech EFLX, and Vortex Defender, positioning any of those optics at a lower 1/3 co-witness height — meaning your iron sights sit in the lower portion of the optic’s field of view rather than centered in it, which keeps the sight picture clean while preserving a usable backup-sight reference without lifting your cheek weld.

The body is precision-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a Type III Mil-Spec hardcoat anodize. That anodize is harder than the base aluminum, so it resists wear at the rail interface where repeated QD cycling would otherwise cut into a softer surface finish. ADM describes this mount as approximately 30% lighter than their standard mounts, which matters on pistol-length builds where every ounce forward of the grip affects handling.

The clamping system uses ADM’s patented QD Auto Lock Lever. The lever design accommodates both in-spec and out-of-spec Picatinny rails, so small dimensional variations between different lowers or rail sections don’t require re-torquing or shimming — the lever self-indexes to a repeatable tension. Adjustment is tool-free by hand, or with a flat-blade screwdriver if you prefer, and the lever can be configured to lock toward the front or the rear of the mount depending on what clears the surrounding furniture.
