Description

The ADM UIC Mod 1 is a compact, general-purpose AR-platform carbine aimed at shooters who want a shorter, more maneuverable package without trading away the ergonomics and parts compatibility of a full-size rifle. American Defense Manufacturing built it around a billet aluminum upper and lower receiver set machined to be fully ambidextrous, so left- and right-handed shooters work the same controls without modification. The bolt catch, release lever, and magazine release are all accessible from either side, which matters on a rifle intended for practical use rather than shelf display.

The 13.9-inch barrel is pinned and welded to a SureFire Eliminator 3P flash hider, bringing the overall barrel assembly to a 16-inch legal length while keeping the sight radius and handling characteristics of a shorter tube. A 1:7 twist rate stabilizes heavier projectiles effectively, meaning this rifle handles 62-grain and 77-grain loads without the accuracy penalty you would see from a slower twist optimized only for lighter ammunition. The barrel carries a Nitride QPQ finish on the bolt carrier group, which resists corrosion and reduces friction without requiring the same maintenance interval as a polished chrome finish.

Furniture is Magpul throughout: an MOE pistol grip and an MOE-SL stock riding on an ADM 10-position buffer tube with a heavy-duty buffer, giving the shooter fine-grained length-of-pull adjustment and some additional mass to moderate the recoil impulse of the mid-length or carbine gas system. The free-float M-LOK handguard keeps weight down while allowing accessories to be mounted directly without adapter rails. An ALG ACT trigger and a Raptor-LT ambidextrous charging handle round out the control package. One 30-round magazine is included.
