Description

The Arisaka Offset Scout Mount for the MCX Spear LT solves a specific problem: the SIG Spear LT handguard’s geometry makes standard Picatinny rail adapters awkward, pushing weapon lights away from the rail and adding unnecessary bulk to the forend. This mount replaces that adapter entirely, seating the light body directly against the handguard at the 3 or 9 o’clock M-Lok positions for a tighter, lower-profile package.

The design includes three lateral mounting positions spanning roughly 0.240 inches, which matters when you’re running a laser aiming device on the top rail. That small range of adjustment is enough to clear an ATPIAL-C, PEQ-15, DBAL-A2, or NGAL without repositioning the laser itself. For setups using a MAWL, the mount can be flipped to use the angled M-Lok slots, with the light hanging below rather than offset to the side. The mount is also noted to work with Aero Precision Enhanced Gen 2 handguards if that platform applies to your build.

Arisaka machines the body from 6061-T651 aluminum, then applies a MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodize before finishing with Magpul FDE Cerakote — a sequence that keeps the substrate hard and corrosion-resistant while the Cerakote provides the color match to FDE-configured rifles. At 0.4 ounces and 1.265 inches long, there’s no meaningful weight or length penalty. Hardware for both M-Lok attachment and light body mounting is included; installation requires a T20 Torx or IP20 TorxPlus driver.
