Description

The Arisaka Side Scout Mount MCX solves a specific problem that shooters running lasers on the SIG MCX and MPX encounter constantly: there is nowhere to put a weapon light that doesn’t conflict with the laser body or its QD mechanism. This mount replaces the factory Picatinny rail adapter on Scout-pattern lights and repositions the light to either side of the handguard, tucking it underneath devices like the NGAL, ATPIAL-C, AN/PEQ-15, and LA-5/PEQ rather than competing with them for the same real estate. It also provides enough clearance for the QD lever on the Steiner DBAL I2, A3, and D2, which is a detail that matters when you’re running a setup that has to come apart quickly. For shooters running B.E. Meyers DAGIR on Geissele MK16 handguards, it leaves the WAKI plug accessible.

Compatibility extends well beyond the MCX and MPX. The mount works on the B&T GHM and APC series, CZ Scorpion and Bren, IWI Tavor, and standard AR-platform M-Lok handguards, so it’s a viable solution even without a laser in the equation. On the light side, it supports the full Surefire M300 and M600 Scout series, Modlite PLH, PLHv2 and OKW, Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1, 2, and HL-X (non-laser), Olight Odin, CD REIN, and Arisaka’s own 300, 600, and 18650 Series.

The mount is CNC machined from 6061-T651 aluminum and finished in MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodize. At 0.4 oz and 1.265 inches in length, it adds almost nothing to your overall package. Installation uses two M-Lok nuts and requires a T20 Torx or IP20 TorxPlus driver; necessary screws are included. Covered by U.S. Patent No. D1000570. Made in the USA.
