Description
BCM’s Quick Detach Sling Swivel with 1″ D-Ring is built for shooters who run 1-inch slings and need a mounting point that can be attached or removed under pressure, with one hand, without fumbling. The D-ring geometry keeps the sling centered and moving freely rather than binding or bunching at the swivel body the way a rectangular loop tends to do during transitions or low-ready carry.
The flush plunger release sits recessed into the body so it cannot be tripped by incidental contact with gear or a retention holster. Engaging or disengaging the swivel is deliberate — it takes a conscious press — which matters when the rifle is slung across your back during a climb or a vehicle movement and you cannot afford an unintentional drop.
Construction is carbon steel with a manganese phosphate finish. Each unit is tumble-deburred and sandblasted before plating, which removes edge burrs that could wear through sling webbing over time and gives the phosphate coat a clean, uniform surface to bond to. The contoured profile is shaped to sit comfortably against the support hand when the swivel sits forward on the rifle and doubles as a passive hand stop during shooting.
Made in the United States. Sized specifically for 1-inch slings — shooters running wider sling webbing should look at BCM’s larger-format QD swivel options instead.
