The BCM GUNFIGHTER Stock Assembly Mod 0 SOPMOD is built for shooters who run their carbines hard and need furniture that keeps pace. Constructed from lightweight polymer, it fits mil-spec receiver extensions and is designed around the practical realities of working from vehicles, wearing plate carriers, and running slings under load.

The wider SOPMOD body — the defining difference between this stock and BCM’s standard Mod 0 — raises the cheek weld height to give a more consistent head position behind optics, particularly dot sights and low-mounted scopes. The broader surface also distributes recoil contact across more of the face, which matters during longer range sessions. The geometry is deliberately smooth throughout, with no protruding edges that could snag a sling, grab MOLLE webbing, or catch on a plate carrier when the rifle comes up quickly.

The modular VBOST — Vehicle Borne Operations Sling Tab — addresses a specific operational problem: keeping a sling gathered tight against the stock when the carbine is stowed inside a vehicle. A ranger band or bungee routes through the tab to pin the sling out of the way, preventing it from tangling when the rifle needs to come out fast. Sling attachment is ambidextrous, with two distinct mounting options including QD swivel sockets on both sides.

The stock breaks down into six parts retained by a single screw, which keeps weight low and gives the design a forward path for future configuration changes without replacing the entire assembly. The color-matched rubber butt pad sits flush and provides grip against the shoulder pocket without adding unnecessary bulk to the package length.
