B&T NAR UNIVERSAL RAIL MOUNT MP5/G3

Description

The B&T NAR Universal Mount is designed for shooters who want a repeatable, zero-retaining optic platform on HK roller-delayed platforms — specifically the MP5, HK33, HK53, and G3 families — without permanently modifying the host rifle. These platforms predate the era of integrated Picatinny rails, and their receiver geometry makes finding a mount that actually fits the contour, rather than merely clamping down hard, a genuine problem. B&T engineered this mount to engage that geometry precisely, which is why it returns to the same position each time it is removed and reinstalled.

The mount is machined from aluminum and finished with a Hartcoat anodize treatment, which is a hard-anodize process that increases surface hardness and corrosion resistance beyond standard Type II anodize without adding meaningful weight. A single full-length Picatinny rail runs across the top, giving you 138 mm of usable rail space — enough to mount a full-size optic and still have room forward or aft for a backup sight or offset device if your setup calls for it. Rail height from the bore axis is on the taller side by design, accommodating the cocking handle and receiver profile of the host rifles rather than fighting it. That height is worth factoring in when selecting an optic with a fixed eyepiece, since it will affect cheek weld on stocks that were originally spec’d for iron sights. The mount ships in black and is compatible across the MP5, HK94, G3/HK91, and HK33/HK93 platforms; MAC-5 and similar clones may require fitting.
