Description

The RXM-300 is Bushnell’s largest open reflex sight, built for competition shooting, home defense, carry, and range work — any role where a full-size window and fast target acquisition matter more than a compact footprint. The open reflex design means there is no tube to look through; the emitter projects the dot onto a lens in your direct line of sight, so both eyes stay open and the sight picture is immediate rather than framed.

The 4 MOA dot is sized to cover a target quickly at practical defensive and competition distances without obscuring it at longer range. That balance suits mixed-use shooting better than a finer dot, which demands more precise eye alignment under stress, or a larger dot, which can mask detail at distance.

Shake-awake puts the sight into a low-power sleep state during inactivity and brings it back to full brightness the moment the optic detects movement. This extends battery life substantially without requiring the shooter to remember to switch off between sessions. The EXO Barrier coating is applied directly to the lens at a molecular level, which helps water, oil, and debris shed from the glass surface rather than bond to it — a meaningful advantage on an open-sight design where the lens has no tube protecting it from the environment.

The sight ships with both low and high mounting options, so it can be configured for a standard sight-over-bore height or raised to co-witness with iron sights depending on the host firearm. The footprint follows the RMR/SRO pattern, giving it broad compatibility with pistol slides and long-gun mounts cut to that standard.
