Description

The EXPS3-4 is EOTech’s holographic weapon sight built for shooters who need a single optic capable of handling both close-quarters work and reaching out to mid-range distances. The ballistic reticle is specifically calculated for 5.56 NATO/.223 Rem with 62-grain M855 FMJ at roughly 2,680 fps from a 14.5-inch barrel, giving you pre-calibrated aiming points at 200, 400, 500, and 600 yards without any manual hold-over math. That is the point of the four-dot configuration: the center dot covers your zero, and the descending dots compensate for trajectory drop as distance increases. Because the reticle is holographic rather than a projected LED dot, it stays a true 1 MOA in apparent size regardless of whether you add a magnifier behind it — the image scales with the glass while the aiming point does not grow or wash out.

The transverse-mounted CR123 battery keeps the overall footprint short, which matters when you are pairing this sight with a magnifier or running a suppressor. The quick-detach lever locks to 1-inch Weaver and MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails without tools, so the sight comes off and returns to zero when reinstalled. Brightness runs through 20 daylight settings, with ten additional steps tuned for Gen I through Gen III night vision devices, making the same unit useful around the clock without swapping hardware. Windage and elevation adjust in half-MOA increments per click, which gives you fine resolution when dialing in at distance.
