Description
The EOTech EXPS3 in Flat Dark Earth Cerakote is a holographic weapon sight built for shooters who need fast, reliable target acquisition at close to medium range. Where a traditional red dot projects a reticle onto a lens, the EXPS3 uses holographic technology to place the reticle at the target plane, which means parallax is far less of a factor when your eye is off-center — a meaningful advantage when your cheek weld is rushed or your position is compromised.
The 68 MOA outer ring gives your eye a large, fast reference to snap onto, while the 1 MOA center dot is precise enough to be useful at distance. Together they offer three distinct aiming references: the dot is zeroed for 50 and 200 yards, while the bottom of the ring corresponds to approximately 7 yards — letting you hold where the target is rather than compensating for offset at bad-breath distance.
The EXPS series moves the battery to a transverse mount and consolidates the controls to one side, freeing up rail space forward of the sight for a magnifier. The integrated quick-detach lever lets you pull the optic and re-mount it without returning to zero. Thirty brightness levels cover everything from direct sunlight to full darkness with a compatible night vision device. The sight is submersible to 33 feet and internally fog resistant, so environmental conditions are not a limiting factor. It runs on a single CR123A lithium battery. Windage and elevation adjust at half-MOA per click with a tool-free interface.
