Description

The CGS Helios QD Ti is a quick-attach rifle suppressor built for 5.56mm rifles and carbines, equally at home on a short-barreled patrol carbine or a precision build where weight and balance matter. The entire structure — tube, baffles, and all included accessories — is constructed from DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering) Grade V titanium, a manufacturing process that allows CGS to produce internal baffle geometry that conventional machining cannot achieve. That geometry is the foundation of what CGS calls their Varying Core Diameter design: the bore progressively changes diameter through the suppressor to manage gas expansion in a way that reduces both sound signature and muzzle flash without requiring additional length.

The .36-inch bore serves a dual purpose. It reduces back pressure returning to the action, which matters most on carbine-length gas systems and direct-impingement rifles already running on the edge of their gas balance. That same generous bore also means the suppressor is rated for calibers beyond 5.56, up to 300 Norma Magnum, giving a shooter with multiple rifles real flexibility from a single can. The QD mounting interface uses the 1.375×24 thread pitch common to the HUB and Bravo ecosystems, which means it accepts a wide range of commercially available muzzle devices. The taper interface between the muzzle device and suppressor body is designed specifically to prevent carbon lock — a real concern after sustained fire — without requiring tools to break free. Two interchangeable front caps ship with the suppressor: a sealed cap for maximum sound reduction and a ported cap that vents gas forward, reducing the blowback that can affect left-handed shooters or over-gassed platforms. The exterior wears a PVD Black DLC finish; internal surfaces are coated with either SX Line or Hexagonal Boron Nitride. CGS backs the Helios QD Ti with a lifetime warranty.
