Description
The C&H Precision RMR-EPS adapter plate solves a specific and common problem: you have a slide cut for the Trijicon RMR footprint, but you want to run a Holosun EPS or EPS Carry. Rather than having the slide recut or settling for a different optic, this plate bridges the two mounting patterns, letting the EPS or EPS Carry seat directly over an existing RMR-pattern recess. The EPS and EPS Carry use an enclosed emitter design, which makes the footprint geometry meaningfully different from the standard RMR, and a generic spacer will not account for that correctly — the RMR-EPS is built specifically for these two optics and not simply adapted from a broader plate family.
C&H designates this as the V4, indicating an iterated design rather than a first-generation solution. The plate carries an anodized finish in black, which holds up to the contact and friction that comes with any slide-mounted accessory. Construction and machining are handled by C&H Precision in-house rather than sourced from third parties, which keeps dimensional tolerances consistent across the product line.
One practical detail worth noting before installation: C&H recommends dry-fitting all components before committing to a final torque, both to confirm seating and to avoid damage to the plate or slide interface. Achieving correct co-witness height with iron sights is a separate consideration that depends on the specific slide, optic, and mounting configuration — there is no universal answer, and it is worth confirming your sight height before purchasing irons to accompany this setup.
