The Cloud Defensive REIN 3.0 Complete Kit in Flat Dark Earth is a purpose-built weapon light for defensive and duty use, designed for shooters who need reliable, high-output illumination on an AR-platform or similarly equipped rifle. The body is machined from Type III hard coat anodized 6061-T6 aluminum in a three-piece modular format, which matters because any section can be serviced or replaced in the field without returning the light to the manufacturer. The 1.3-inch bezel keeps the profile narrow enough to avoid interfering with suppressor-height sights or angled foregrips, while the 6.17-inch overall length remains compact without sacrificing the battery capacity that drives serious output.

Cloud Defensive’s patented Battery Jack system mechanically locks the cell in place rather than relying on spring pressure alone. Under sustained automatic fire or high round-count strings, spring-contact designs can produce flicker as the battery shifts; the REIN’s clamping approach eliminates that failure mode. The light runs on a single 18650 for its full rated output, but the dual-fuel design also accepts two CR123A cells in a pinch—output drops when running CR123A, so the 18650 remains the primary choice for any mission-critical application. The lens is 3mm thick glass rated to stop multiple 5.56 Simunition rounds at close distance, and the housing carries an IPX-8 water resistance rating, meaning it can be fully submerged to significant depth without ingress. The included remote switch features integrated cable management channels that keep the pressure-pad cord routed close to the handguard and away from snag points, with the tailcap remaining functional as a backup if the switch circuit ever fails. M-LOK mounting only—no Picatinny adapter is included in this kit.
