The Banshee MK10 in 10mm is built for shooters who want a compact, hard-hitting platform that draws on a pistol-caliber AR architecture without the bulk of a rifle-length build. It fits naturally into a role where maneuverability matters and where the terminal performance of 10mm — a cartridge with more energy at the muzzle than most handgun rounds — is a priority over a smaller, easier-to-find caliber.

CMMG’s radial delayed blowback operating system is the key mechanical choice here. Standard blowback designs cycle with full bolt carrier momentum against a relatively weak return spring, which translates to a snappy, front-heavy reciprocating mass — noticeable in a short pistol. The radial delayed system bleeds off bolt velocity before the carrier travels rearward, spreading the recoil impulse over a slightly longer cycle. The result is a smoother, more controllable shooting experience than a straight blowback 10mm pistol of comparable size would produce, without requiring a gas port and all the tuning that goes with it.

The platform ships optics ready, so the shooter chooses the sighting solution that fits their intended use rather than paying for iron sights they may remove immediately. The ambidextrous safety is integrated rather than added on, which keeps the control geometry consistent with what left- and right-handed shooters expect from an AR-pattern lower. The included Ripbrace provides a rear attachment point that contacts the forearm, adding stability without altering the fundamental pistol classification of the firearm.
