Description
The CMMG Banshee MK10 in 10mm is built for shooters who want a compact, AR-pattern pistol with genuine stopping power. The platform draws on CMMG’s Radial Delayed Blowback operating system, which uses two rotating lugs on the bolt carrier to slow the rearward cycle before the case is extracted. That delay softens the felt impulse noticeably compared to a straight blowback design running the same cartridge — and 10mm generates enough pressure that the difference is real and practical, not marginal.
The 8-inch barrel keeps the package short without the steep velocity losses you’d see from a 4- or 5-inch handgun barrel, making it a sensible middle ground for the cartridge. The barrel is threaded at .578×28, the standard pitch for 10mm suppressors and muzzle devices, so adding a can or compensator is straightforward. The receiver is finished in Tungsten Cerakote, a matte grey-green that holds up well to handling and resists corrosion without needing frequent re-coating. Controls are ambidextrous, which matters on a pistol this compact where the shooting hand position can vary by brace configuration. The platform ships with a RipBrace and feeds from Glock-pattern double-stack magazines at a 15-round capacity. The upper is optics ready, leaving the top rail uncluttered so the shooter can mount whatever zero-magnification or low-power optic suits the intended use without working around a fixed sight.
