Description
The CMMG ZEROED Adjustable Gas Block is built for shooters who want precise control over how their AR-15 cycles — whether they are running a suppressor, experimenting with handloaded ammunition, or working through a build that came out over- or under-gassed from the factory. A fixed gas block leaves you at the mercy of whatever the barrel manufacturer tuned for, which is typically a middle-of-the-road compromise. This block lets you move away from that compromise and find the setting that actually works for your setup.
The core of the design is a 20-position detent adjustment screw, which means changes happen in defined, repeatable steps rather than an analog sweep you cannot reliably return to. Too much gas accelerates bolt carrier wear and produces punishing felt recoil; too little and the action fails to complete its cycle. The detent system makes it practical to find the lowest-gas setting that still cycles reliably and stay there. A dedicated cleanout chamber bleeds off excess carbon so that fouling has somewhere to collect other than the adjustment mechanism itself, and the design is serviceable by the user rather than requiring a trip back to a gunsmith.
The body is made from 4140 steel with 17-4 stainless steel components and finished in nitride for corrosion resistance. The .750-inch inside diameter fits the most common barrel profile in the AR-15 platform. Installation hardware — a 6-inch, 3/32 hex wrench and a roll pin — ships with the block, so you are not sourcing additional tooling to get it mounted and adjusted.
