Description

The Daniel Defense 1 O’Clock Offset Rail is built for shooters running a magnified primary optic who need a fast, reliable path to an unmagnified sight picture without breaking their cheek weld. Mounting at the 1 o’clock position for right-handed shooters or flipped to the 11 o’clock for left-handed use, it lets you transition from magnified to close-range non-magnified engagements and back without any shift in your head position on the stock. That geometry is the whole point: a cheek weld change mid-engagement costs time and introduces inconsistency, and this mount is designed to eliminate both.

The Rock & Lock one-piece mounting system attaches to any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail and simplifies installation compared to multi-piece clamping arrangements. The resulting interface is both streamlined and solid. The rail section it presents is also MIL-STD-1913 compatible, so it accepts any Weaver or Picatinny-footprint optic or accessory. The obvious application is a miniature red dot, but the mount is also useful for lights and other rail-mounted accessories. Inverted, it positions a light well for use alongside a vertical foregrip.

Construction is aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum with a Military Specification Type III hard coat anodize, which gives the surface meaningful abrasion resistance without adding significant weight. The finished weight is 1.1 ounces, so it contributes almost nothing to the overall balance of the rifle. Manufactured in the USA by Daniel Defense.
