Description

The EOTech EFLX is EOTech’s entry into open-emitter reflex optics, built around the Leupold Delta Point Pro footprint. That mounting standard matters in practice: it means the EFLX drops onto any slide already milled for a Delta Point Pro, and it also adapts to a rear dovetail mounting plate, giving it broad compatibility across pistol platforms without requiring proprietary cuts.

The housing is machined from aluminum and finished in EOTech’s Flat Dark Earth-toned Tan, which is designated here as part of the EFLX line rather than a simple color coat. The viewing window uses a square aspect ratio that EOTech carried over from their holographic weapon sights — wider than a typical circular-lens reflex — which keeps the dot findable under stress because the shooter’s eye has more glass to land on during a fast presentation.

The 3 MOA red dot is a meaningful size choice for a pistol optic. At typical defensive or duty distances it covers a small enough portion of the target to allow deliberate aimed fire, while remaining large enough to pick up quickly without hunting. Nine brightness levels, including settings compatible with night vision equipment, let the shooter dial the dot to ambient conditions rather than living with a fixed brightness that washes out in daylight or blinds in low light.

Battery access is handled through a top-loading tray, which means the sight stays on the gun during a battery swap — no re-zeroing required. A single CR2032 powers the optic for approximately 20,000 hours. Beyond pistols, the EFLX functions as a 1x optic on shotguns or as the close-range solution paired with a magnified rifle optic.
