Description

The EOTech EFLX is EOTech’s entry into the mini reflex sight category, and it was designed from the ground up for pistol use without sacrificing versatility on long guns. Its footprint matches the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, which means it drops directly onto any slide or mount cut to that standard — a practical choice given how widely that pattern has been adopted across pistol manufacturers.

Where the EFLX departs from most optics in its class is the window shape. EOTech carried over the rectangular aspect ratio from their Holographic Weapon Sight line, giving the EFLX a wider viewing area than the circular or roughly square windows common to competing pistol red dots. That geometry matters during target acquisition: a wider window means less hunting for the dot when the gun comes up from a compressed or unconventional position, and it preserves more peripheral awareness downrange.

The 6 MOA dot is the larger of the two reticle options EOTech offers in this platform. At close to moderate pistol distances, a larger dot resolves faster on target than a fine 2 or 3 MOA dot, particularly in low light or when the shooter’s vision is stressed. The trade-off is precision at extended ranges, where a 6 MOA dot can obscure a small target — a consideration worth weighing if most of your shooting is at distance. For duty carry, home defense, or general range work inside 50 yards, that dot size suits the platform well.

The housing is machined aluminum with a hardcoat anodized finish, and the battery loads from the top so you can replace a CR2032 without pulling the optic off the mount. Battery life is rated at 20,000 hours, and nine brightness settings include night-vision-compatible low settings.
