Description

The EOTech HHS II pairs the EXPS2-2 holographic weapon sight with the G33 3x magnifier on a switch-to-side mount, giving the shooter a fast-acquisition, both-eyes-open 1x optic that converts to a magnified system in under a second without removing either unit from the rail. That combination suits carbine shooters who need to engage close targets quickly and then reach out to distance without swapping optics or losing their zero.

The holographic reticle works differently from a reflex dot: the pattern is projected onto the rear window rather than emitted by an LED, which keeps the reticle in the same apparent position regardless of where your eye sits behind the sight. The 68 MOA ring helps the eye find the reticle quickly under stress, while the two 2 MOA dots inside it give you a precise aiming reference when the target and time permit. Because the reticle is generated by the optic rather than reflected, it remains fully visible even with a damaged or fouled front window — an advantage in hard-use environments.

The G33 magnifier mounts directly behind the EXPS2-2 and flips to the side when you need to drop back to 1x, so the transition is a single motion with no change to cheek weld or eye position. The sight runs on a single CR123 battery loaded transversely into the body, which keeps the overall profile compact and allows iron sight access over the top of the unit. Both the sight and magnifier use EOTech’s quick-detach levers, so either can be pulled and remounted without losing zero.
