Description

The EOTech Vudu 1-8×24 SFP with HC3 reticle is built for shooters who need one optic to handle both close-quarters work and extended range engagements without compromise. The second focal plane placement keeps the reticle at a fixed apparent size across the entire magnification range, which means the HC3 subtensions are calibrated at a specific power setting — typically maximum — rather than scaling with zoom. That is a deliberate trade-off: at 1x the reticle stays small and uncluttered for fast target acquisition, but accurate holdover use requires the shooter to be at the correct magnification setting.

The HC3 reticle itself is built around a duplex-style pattern with a half-MOA illuminated center dot and elevation holdover points designed to compensate for bullet drop at distance.
