Description
The EOTech XPS2 in Grey is built for shooters who need a compact holographic sight without sacrificing window size or optical performance. It is the smallest and lightest holographic weapon sight in the EOTech lineup that does not include night-vision capability, making it a practical choice for carbine builds where rail real estate matters.
Running on a single CR123 battery rather than the two AA cells used by larger EOTech housings, the XPS2 keeps its footprint short enough to mount forward on the rail and still leave room behind it for a magnifier or folding iron sights. Battery life is rated at 1,000 continuous hours at the nominal brightness setting, so the sight can stay on without constant management during extended use.
The reticle pairs a 68 MOA outer ring with a 1 MOA center dot. The ring is fast to pick up in both-eyes-open shooting because it draws the eye to center naturally, while the fine 1 MOA dot is precise enough for accurate shot placement at distance. Twenty daylight brightness settings give the shooter fine control across varying light conditions. The window transmits a true 1x image, so there is no magnification distortion and no adjustment needed when transitioning between the optic and peripheral vision.
The housing is machined from aluminum with a hard-coat finish. Submersion resistance to ten feet means the sight tolerates rain, mud, and water crossings without protective covers. The mount uses a locking quick-detach lever that seats on standard 1-inch Weaver and MIL-STD-1913 rails. EOTech backs the XPS2 with a ten-year prestige warranty against manufacturing defects.
