Description
The Vudu 3-9×32 SFP package is built for shooters who want a single compact system capable of handling both magnified precision work and fast close-range shooting without swapping between separate optics. The second focal plane placement means the MD-6 reticle holds a consistent apparent size across the magnification range, which keeps the aiming picture clean and uncluttered at lower power settings where speed matters most — the trade-off being that any reticle-based holdover calculations only remain calibrated at a specific magnification, typically the highest. That is a deliberate choice for a hunting and duty-use profile where shooters generally know their zero distance and dial or hold from there.
The scope body is machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, keeping weight down without sacrificing the rigidity needed to hold zero under recoil. Capped turrets protect the adjustments from incidental contact in the field, and the construction is fogproof and waterproof, so temperature changes and wet conditions do not compromise the sight picture. The illuminated MD-6 reticle runs on a single CR2032 cell for up to 300 hours across ten brightness levels, controlled by a rotary dial — enough range to be usable in bright daylight or low-light conditions without being buried in a menu system.
The integrated base is designed to accept mini-ACOG mounts, giving the setup a low, stable mounting position. The package pairs the scope with a ring mount and an EFLX reflex sight, which offsets on the mount to provide a heads-up dot for true close-quarters targets without breaking the primary optic’s zero. The result is a coherent two-optic solution in a single, compact package rather than a collection of components that need to be sourced and configured separately.
