Description
The EOTech Vudu X 1-6x24mm SFP is built for shooters who need a single optic to handle both close-quarters work and medium-range precision without compromise. The second focal plane design keeps the reticle the same apparent size across the entire magnification range, which means the BD1 reticle stays clean and uncluttered at 1x for fast target acquisition — an important distinction from first focal plane scopes, where reticle size scales with magnification and can obscure a target at low power.
The BD1 reticle pairs a familiar duplex-style crosshair with ballistic holdover points, giving you a holdover reference without the visual noise of a dense mil or MOA grid. That makes it practical for hunting, where conditions change fast and a cluttered reticle is a liability, as well as for competition stages that mix distance and speed. On an SFP scope, those holdover marks are calibrated to a specific magnification — typically maximum power — so the system rewards disciplined technique.
The tube and housing are machined from aircraft-grade aluminum in a single-piece construction with an anodized finish, keeping the optical and mechanical components in consistent alignment under recoil. Nitrogen purging prevents internal fogging across temperature swings. The included throw lever makes magnification changes fast enough to be practical under time pressure, and the laser-engraved magnification ring removes any ambiguity about your power setting. A single CR2032 battery powers the illuminated reticle, keeping the logistics straightforward. The scope ships with lens caps, a lens cloth, and a battery already included.
