The FrogTube kit replaces that cycle with a USDA-approved, bio-based approach that uses no petroleum and no water. The chemistry is designed so that heat from normal shooting drives the treatment deeper into metal pores, leaving behind a dry, wax-like surface layer rather than a wet film. That dry surface resists fouling instead of giving it something to stick to, which translates to easier cleaning after a range session rather than harder scrubbing from built-up residue.

The kit covers the full cleaning and protection process in a single package. The solvent handles the initial strip, breaking down carbon and old lubricant before you apply any protectant.
