Description

The Geissele Super 3-Gun trigger was built around one specific problem in competition shooting: the gap between a single-stage trigger’s immediacy and a two-stage trigger’s control. Rather than forcing a shooter to choose between the two, the S3G bridges them. It borrows its architecture from the Super Select-Fire trigger Geissele developed for U.S. Special Operations use, then strips away the automatic sear and refines the semi-automatic function for close-course speed work.

The result is a hybrid action that behaves like a single-stage during the firing stroke but carries enough of a two-stage profile to give the shooter a tactile reference before the break. The pull is light and the reset is short, which means follow-up shots on steel or a moving target sequence come faster than most traditional two-stage designs allow. The mil-spec pin dimensions mean it drops into any standard AR-15 or AR-10 lower without modification to the receiver.

Two spring weights ship with the trigger, giving you meaningful flexibility in total pull weight depending on your rifle’s use. The lighter spring brings the pull into the 3.0–4.0 lb range; the heavier spring raises it to the 4.5–5.5 lb range. The M4-style curved trigger bow is the same geometry most AR shooters already train with, so there is no adaptation period for your trigger finger placement. Geissele is direct that this trigger is not intended for precision accuracy work or duty carry — its short, light pull and fast reset are tuned for speed over group-shooting discipline.
