Description

The H&K Optic Plate #2 is the factory solution for mounting a Trijicon RMR to the VP9 OR (Optic Ready) series pistol. H&K designed the VP OR slide with a recessed pocket and threaded holes sized for these plates rather than a direct optic cut, which means the plate fills that pocket and presents a consistent, repeatable mounting surface every time the optic is removed and reinstalled. Because the plate seats into the slide rather than simply sitting on top of it, bore-to-optic height stays predictable and the optic itself is partially protected by the slide’s surrounding material.

Installation uses the same screws that retain the factory filler plate, so no additional hardware is required beyond what ships with the pistol. The plate is made from steel, which keeps it rigid under recoil and resistant to the flex that can cause zero shift over time. The black finish matches the VP9’s standard slide color.

Compatibility matters here: this plate fits all VP9 OR models and accepts the Trijicon RMR footprint, but it is also compatible with Holosun optics that share that footprint. It does not fit the Holosun 507K or the Trijicon RMRcc, both of which use a smaller, distinct footprint. If you are unsure which Holosun model you own, check the footprint designation rather than the model number alone before ordering. This is an H&K factory part, not an aftermarket adapter, so fit and finish align with the tolerances the slide was manufactured to accept.
