Description
The HUXWRX Stiction Lock Comp is built for pistol caliber carbines where a shooter wants a straight path to a hub-compatible suppressor without juggling separate adapters or sacrificing a stable mount. It ships with the Hub Mini Stiction Adapter already part of the package, so the compensator functions as its own mounting interface rather than requiring a separate puck or taper mount.
The Stiction design works through a friction-locking principle: the comp indexes and locks onto a compatible hub under tension, which keeps it from walking loose during sustained fire without relying on a set screw or secondary locking mechanism that can bind or require tools to break free. For range training and high-round-count sessions, that matters because the mount stays put and breaks down quickly when you actually want it to.
The body is machined from 17-4 stainless steel, a precipitation-hardened alloy that resists corrosion and holds up to heat better than standard 416 stainless without the weight penalty of more exotic materials. On a 9mm platform that sees regular suppressor use, heat management at the host attachment point is worth considering, and 17-4 handles sustained thermal cycles well. The half-inch by twenty-eight thread pitch is the standard for 9mm threaded barrels, making this a direct fit for the broad majority of PCC and pistol barrels already in that configuration.
