Description
The Lantac 9INE is a drop-in replacement barrel for Glock 19 pistols—Gen 3, Gen 4, Gen 5, and G19X—built for shooters who want a measurable accuracy and durability upgrade without gunsmithing work. This stainless steel variant wears a Satin Blast finish that resists corrosion while keeping a low-profile, workmanlike look.
The barrel is machined from 416R chromium stainless steel and heat-treated to a 38–42 Rockwell C hardness, a range associated with match-grade work that balances wear resistance against the toughness needed for a duty-weight pistol. Final bore dimensions are held to a ±0.0002-inch deviation, which tightens the relationship between bullet and bore and directly supports shot-to-shot consistency. The chamber is cut to SAAMI match-grade spec, so it accepts standard 9mm ammunition reliably while maintaining the tighter headspace that contributes to accuracy.
Eight longitudinal flute channels run the exterior of the barrel. Beyond the weight reduction, the flutes increase surface area exposed to air, which helps dissipate heat faster during sustained shooting—a practical consideration on a range day with high round counts. The muzzle is threaded 1/2×28 TPI right-hand, the standard pitch for 9mm suppressors and most muzzle devices on the market, and a thread protector is included. A 6-groove, cut-rifled bore with a 1:10 right-hand twist stabilizes projectiles across the common 9mm weight range without over-spinning lighter bullets. Lantac makes this barrel in Fort Worth, Texas.
