The LWRC R.E.P.R. MKII SC is built for shooters who need a capable semi-automatic precision platform in 7.62 NATO — one that can handle sustained volume without sacrificing shot-to-shot consistency. The operating system is LWRC’s patented short-stroke gas piston design. Unlike a direct-impingement arrangement that vents combustion gas directly into the bolt carrier, the piston system keeps that heat and carbon out of the action, which reduces fouling accumulation and keeps the rifle running longer between cleanings — a meaningful advantage when round counts are high or maintenance windows are short. The gas block is user-adjustable, so you can tune the system to specific loads or suppress-ready settings without replacing components.

The 20-inch barrel maximizes the 7.62 NATO cartridge’s velocity potential and extends the effective range window compared to the 16.1-inch variant — useful when shooting at distances where those extra feet per second translate into flatter trajectories and more retained energy. A 1:10-inch twist rate is well-matched to the broad middle of the .308 bullet-weight spectrum, stabilizing projectiles from standard 147-grain M80 ball through heavier match bullets in the 168–175-grain range without over-spinning lighter varmint loads. The barrel receives a Black Nitride treatment for corrosion resistance and surface hardness.

The Monoforge upper receiver integrates the rail base as a single machined structure rather than attaching it separately, which removes a potential flex point. Trigger work is handled by a Geissele SSA-E two-stage unit. Sights are LWRC Skirmish flip-up irons, and the stock is a Magpul PRS adjustable unit suited to prone and positional work. Controls are fully ambidextrous, and the side-charging handle keeps the reciprocating mass clear of the optic footprint.
